Braking for lemonade stands

A fun activity that I have enjoyed this summer is braking for lemonade stands.  This is my plan:  I stop at any lemonade stand; I offer to buy two glasses of lemonade, but my request is that the kids will give me one minute of their time, and I drink only one glass.  During that one minute I ask the kids questions that relate to entrepreneurship.

>  Where did you get your supplies and how will you pay for them?
>  How will you divide your profit after you pay for your supplies? (if there is a group)
>  What is your goal for the amount you want to make
>  How will you spend the money?  Save it?

I share with the kids that I am an author and briefly explain my book.  Two things happen:
1.  They are suprised that I live near them.
2.  That I am an author.

I encourage everyone to support these young entrepreneurs!!
